Let the Rain Begin

As if I did not have enough going on in my life, with working full time and having Rerun Design. I decided take on large garden again this year. With the help of my mom, we planted a 20'x40' plot at a community garden. This year we planted tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, peas, onions, peppers and carrots.

You might wonder why I have a garden, it is because I do not like feeding my family all the preservatives and sugars in processed food. Most of the produce we grow we either can or freeze for the rest of year. I famous among friends and family for my pickles and pickled beans. They make great gift a Christmas time.

I am happy to say that as of last night the garden is planted and just in time. We are under a flash flood watch tonight with 2-4" of rain expected. Hopefully, our seeds will not wash away. I can hear that the rain just began
